The 2024 Midwest Microbiome Symposium hosted by The Purdue Applied Microbiome Sciences (PAMS) group will host four keynotes to speak about Resilience and Microbial Communities from Ameet Pinto from Georgia Tech, Adina Howe from Iowa State, Paul Jensen from the University of Michigan, and Purna Kashyap from the Mayo Clinic (External Advisor to the Personalized Nutrition Initiative at Illinois). Additional speakers representing a wide variety of microbiome systems will be highlighted, together with poster sessions, a career panel, and networking opportunities.

Our annual event will be held on September 24-25, 2024 on the campus of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. This included an Innovation Day with oral and poster presentations, an External Partners Program meeting, an External Advisory Committee meeting, and opportunities for meetings with researchers.
